Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Albert Drake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Draven Lucas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lucas has chosen Techno Viking as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Draven Lucas!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, James Atkins and Sam Margolis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lucas shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Lucas showed some decent athleticism there.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Drake might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Lucas moves into full mount! Drake won't be happy about that!

Lucas is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Drake to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Drake shrugs it off.

Lucas is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Drake has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Drake!
Lucas pulls Drake in close to prevent any damage.

Lucas bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Drake's guard.
Lucas is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Drake is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

Lucas seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Draven Lucas has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Drake throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Drake misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Lucas closes the distance and clinches.

Drake is trying to maintain a safe position but Lucas gets an underhook and turns Drake into the cage.

Lucas's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Lucas will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Drake up against the cage.
Drake is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Lucas is keeping busy.

Lucas uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Drake.

Lucas tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Drake smiles and moves away.
Albert Drake has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Draven Lucas.
Lucas moves in looking to clinch but Drake pushes him off.

Drake tries to stand but Lucas is controlling from the bottom.

Lucas stays in close to Drake's body and controls the position.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Lucas jumps guard but Drake stands there with Lucas around his waist. Lucas gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Lucas tries to score a power double leg takedown but Drake sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Lucas somewhat.

Drake throws a looping overhand right but Lucas ducks down to avoid it.
Good leg kick by Drake there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Lucas steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Drake.
Lucas has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Albert Drake is winning the standup battle so far.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Lucas bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Drake's guard.

Lucas is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

Lucas looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Lucas throws a right and a left that Drake avoids nicely.
The fight stays on the outside here - Drake looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Drake is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Lucas takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

I would just about give that final round to Draven Lucas.
