Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Naru Jarkko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Furious George (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jarkko comes to the cage accompanied by Hawaii 78 & E ala E. George has chosen Lamb of God - Descending as his entrance music. Naru Jarkko has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are William Gold, James Atkins and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jarkko avoids a punch combination nicely.
George slips a straight right by Jarkko.
Jarkko scores with a head kick. George tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.

Jarkko throws a leg kick but George moved away.
George walks into a straight right hand from Jarkko.

Jarkko shoots for a takedown but George saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
George works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Jarkko uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by George.

George looks to land a combination but Jarkko avoids it well.

Jarkko closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Jarkko definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Jarkko breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Naru Jarkko seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jarkko attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
George closes the distance and clinches up with Jarkko, looking for a takedown. George pushes Jarkko against the cage but Jarkko circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

A nice leg kick lands there from Jarkko.
George throws a series of punches but Jarkko moves out of range.
Jarkko lands a jab to the head.
A combination from George does no damage.
Jarkko tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. George manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
A big left from Jarkko misses.

George shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Jarkko is trying to defend but George finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Jarkko is pressing down on George's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
George trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
George trying to control but Jarkko is working from the bottom.
George advances position into side control!
George sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Jarkko is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.

The ground and pound from George seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.

George remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
Jarkko is trying to get back to half guard.

George controls the position from side control.
George wants to lay and pray for a moment but Jarkko keeps working.

The strikes coming from George are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
Jarkko is not content to let George control the position.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Furious George will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Jarkko does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

George looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Jarkko slips a jab and a cross from George.
Jarkko throws a leg kick which misses George's front leg but catches the back leg as George tries to avoid it.
Jarkko throws a body punch but George moves out of range.

George is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Jarkko closes the distance and clinches up with George, looking for a takedown. Jarkko pushes George against the cage but George circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Jarkko dives in and scores a takedown into George's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Jarkko tries to free his leg and advance position but George is retaining full guard.
George tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Jarkko wants to control from the top but George keeps moving.
Jarkko avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Jarkko postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Jarkko slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

George tries to bench press Jarkko off him but Jarkko keeps the position.
Jarkko is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. George is trying to escape and Jarkko transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and George is forced to tap! Nice work there by Jarkko! Very nice indeed!
