Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hector Hallow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cloud Strife (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Hallow might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to War Pigs. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Strife closes the distance and pushes Hallow back into the cage.
Hallow lands a damaging elbow.

It looks like Cloud Strife has been cut.
Hallow has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Hallow lands an elbow inside that Strife shrugs off.
Hallow blocks a body shot from Strife.
Strife misses with a punch to the body.
Hallow lands an elbow that stopped Strife in his tracks for a moment.
Strife keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Hallow's efforts to push away.

Hallow breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Strife throws a shot from downtown. Hallow moves away and avoids it.

Hallow darts in and clinches Strife up against the cage.
Strife has a couple of punches blocked by Hallow.

Hallow manages to break the clinch.
Strife scores with a nice right hand.

It looks like Hector Hallow has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Hallow lands with a slapping head kick.

That has opened up Cloud Strife's cut even more.
Hallow ducks under a wild hook from Strife.
Strife throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Hallow.
Hallow lands a head kick. Strife smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

Strife swings widly with a right hand
and Hallow counters with a thumping low kick.
Cloud Strife seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Hallow lands a big head kick that sends Strife tumbling to the mat! Hallow takes a step backwards and waves Strife back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Strife is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Strife misses with an uppercut. Hallow saw that one coming.
Strife staying out of range there.
Hallow keeps the fight on the outside.
The fight stays on the outside here - Strife looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Strife rushes Hallow and presses him up against the cage.
Strife misses with a hook from the clinch.
Hallow is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Hallow lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Still in the clinch, Strife scores with a nice short uppercut.
Hallow prevents a body shot from Strife.
Strife swings wildly with an uppercut but Hallow uses good head movement to avoid it.
Hallow blocks a punch to the side of the head.

Hallow looks to throw an elbow but misses.
I was talking to Hallow's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Hallow blocks an uppercut.
Strife doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

Hallow prevents a body shot from Strife.
Strife misses with a hook from the clinch.
A hook to the body from Strife.
Strife is pushing Hallow up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
The crowd are getting on Strife's back here. They're not happy about his lack of aggression in the clinch.
Hallow misses with an elbow strike.

Hallow pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Hallow lands a big head kick that sends Strife tumbling to the mat! Hallow takes a step backwards and waves Strife back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Strife is still on wobbly legs! Can Hallow finish him?
Strife tries to clinch
and Hallow counters with a head kick from the bowels of hell that crumples Strife! This one is all over!
