Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jeff Li (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brandon ODonnelly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jeff Li could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Brandon ODonnelly's chin.

With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Brandon ODonnelly!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Li misses with a combination
and ODonnelly connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
ODonnelly showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Li.
ODonnelly takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Li throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

It looks like Brandon ODonnelly has been cut.
Li is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Jeff Li seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Li swinging wildly here.
ODonnelly avoids the body shot from Li.
Li throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck ODonnelly on the side of the head.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - ODonnelly has eaten all the pies!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Li throws a left and a right that both miss
and ODonnelly cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Li falls off balance throwing a combination
and ODonnelly counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Jeff Li is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Li lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but ODonnelly circles away quickly and effectively.
Li misses with the combination.
Li throws a right and a left that both miss.
ODonnelly on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Li throws a poor cross that misses
and ODonnelly counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Li throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
A combination from Li does no damage.
Li lands a jab to the head.
Li moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
No joy there for Li, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Li pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces ODonnelly back to the cage. Li follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Li is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Li connects with a body shot.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Li throws a lazy uppercut
and ODonnelly counters with a three punch combo that has Li backing up. Li nods at ODonnelly to acknowledge the strikes.

Li is rocked!
Li is breathing heavily.
Li misses with a jab, cross combination.
Oh Li is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
ODonnelly avoids a punch combination nicely.
Li seems to have got his legs back now.
Li misses with a jab to the body

and Li is countered with a crisp right hand from ODonnelly that sends him to the canvas! ODonnelly follows him to the mat into side control.

ODonnelly is working to tighten his grip on Li's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Li has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but ODonnelly is really squeezing tight and eventually Li passes out! ODonnelly breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

Brandon ODonnelly really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Red Square Fight Gear logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
