Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Richie O Grady (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sub Zero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think O Grady might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to (no) Self Esteem. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The fight moves into the clinch position.

It looks like Sub Zero has been cut.
O Grady throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Zero misses with a knee strike.

With the two fighters working up against the cage, O Grady just misses with a elbow thrown towards Zero's brow.

The cut above Sub Zero's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Zero's coach down at Ωmega Gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Zero's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Sub Zero's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
O Grady crunches a lovely knee into Zero's ribcage.

Zero jumps guard and drags O Grady to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
O Grady postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
O Grady not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

O Grady gets to his feet. Zero looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
