The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maxwell dodges the punch combination from Bova.
Bova lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Maxwell tries a head kick but it misses.
Bova pushes Maxwell away with a front kick.
Bova throws a right and a left that both miss.
Bova slips a jab and a cross from Maxwell.
Bova looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Maxwell misses with a two punch combination.
Maxwell tries to bum rush Bova with a series of wild strikes but Bova uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Maxwell tries a head kick but it misses.
Bova avoids the head kick by Maxwell.
Donk. Bova catches Maxwell right on the button with a cross.
Bova fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Maxwell has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Maxwell throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Bova connects with a high kick.
Bova is looking to slow Maxwell down with leg kicks.
Bova cracks Maxwell with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Bova throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

Maxwell is rocked!

It looks like Cole Maxwell has been cut.
Bova lunges in with a left hook that violently twists Maxwell head around and knocks him out cold! Bova hops onto the cage and yells out at the top of his lungs - Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaah! They're showing the replay on the big screens now; that was nasty! I hope one of the photographers got a good shot of it.
