The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mayweather has taken the fight to the clinch.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Sekine accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Mayweather seems keen to control Sekine's posture.

Mayweather is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Sekine has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Sekine wants to work for an arm triangle but Mayweather is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Sekine uses his free foot to push down on Mayweather's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Mayweather.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Sekine jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Mayweather is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Mayweather and Sekine has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Mayweather is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Sekine asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Mayweather tries to buck Sekine off but Sekine is having none of it.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Mayweather wants to control position but Sekine is using a can opener to pass guard... He's turned it into a full on guillotine from mount now! Big trouble for Mayweather here! He's turning a lovely shade of purple and yep! He's tapping out! I would say world class Jiu Jitsu but is it really? It was nice but let's not get silly about it.
