The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Michalski throws a sloppy head kick and Christensen moves out of range easily.
Christensen shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Michalski takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Michalski ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Christensen moves away.
Michalski throws a big shot that misses.
Michalski misses with a double jab.
Michalski has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

and Michalski counters with a low kick, right behind Christensen 's knee.
Christensen throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Michalski, as that shot connected.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Christensen will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

and Christensen counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Michalski throws and low kick but Christensen moves out of range easily.

Michalski throws a jab but it's blocked by Christensen.
Michalski will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Michalski does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Christensen lands a right hook to the body.
Christensen attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.

Christensen is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Michalski.

Michalski is breathing heavily.
Christensen frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Michalski is bucking up trying to escape but Christensen cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Christensen has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Michalski's face.
Christensen postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Michalski looks a forlorn figure.
