Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jake Jordan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lukasz Modric (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jake Jordan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Lukasz Modric!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Summer Carpenter and Winston Howard.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Modric throws a right hand that Jordan ducks under and follows up with a left that Jordan also avoids with ease.
Modric rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Jordan moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Modric shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Jordan as he jumps to the side.
Jordan lands a front kick.
Jordan lands a nice hook to Modric's body. Modric takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Modric throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Jordan's waist but Jordan gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Modric off to one side.
Jordan scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Modric looks gassed!

Modric has Jordan up against the cage in a clinch.

Jordan breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
A lazy left from Jordan finds it's target.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
A combination from Modric does no damage.
Jordan connects with a single shot there.

Modric is rocked!

Jordan clinches with his opponent.
Modric is still on wobbly legs! Can Jordan finish him?
Jordan stalling against the cage.
Modric seems to have recovered his senses.
Jordan prevents the takedown attempt.
Jake Jordan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lukasz Modric.
Jordan landing knees to the body.

Jordan breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Modric takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Modric steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Jordan. That one must have hurt.
No joy there for Jordan, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Jordan darts in and clinches Modric up against the cage.
Jordan lands a nice elbow from the clinch.

Jordan manages to break the clinch.
Jordan fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Modric looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Jordan bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Modric's head backwards.
Modric takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Jordan connects with a vicious head kick that knocks Modric to the floor! Jordan dives in looking for the finish!

Jordan decides to stand and escape the position.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Jordan lands with a right and another and another! Modric is in big trouble! Jordan lands again and this time it's lights out for Modric! A quality knockout there for Jordan.
