Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mauro Furtado (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dusty Smoke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Furtado comes to the cage accompanied by black yelow. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Furtado will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Furtado shoots for a takedown but Smoke saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Furtado shoots in but no luck this time.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Dusty Smoke hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Furtado tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Smoke paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Smoke changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Furtado tries to avoid it but Smoke manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Furtado to the ground. Furtado escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Mauro Furtado has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dusty Smoke.

Furtado darts in looking for a takedown but Smoke gets double underhooks and turns Furtado into the cage.

Dusty Smoke showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Smoke looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Smoke manages to capitalize on a mistake by Furtado to take his back!

Smoke wants to control the position but Furtado frees himself and scrambles - Smoke manages to regain control in side control.
Furtado tries to improve position but can't.
Smoke cracks Furtado with a big right hand but Furtado just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Furtado wants to clinch
and Smoke counters with a two punch combo.
Furtado misses with a wild body shot.

Smoke closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Furtado wants to get back to full guard.

Furtado is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Smoke pulls his head out easily.
