Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Gareth Wilcox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Lewis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Mark Lewis was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Mark Lewis!
The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Felipe Paraventi and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lewis bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Wilcox is looking to clinch but Lewis is avoiding it.
Wilcox shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Lewis napping and manages to drive through into side control!
You can see the frustration on Lewis's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Wilcox with the ground and pound but Lewis regains half guard under the barage of strikes.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lewis is looking to control Wilcox's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Lewis avoid being mounted?
Wilcox throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Lewis trying to control but Wilcox postures up.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Lewis has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Wilcox. Oh but Lewis has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Wilcox goes limp - he's gone! Lewis jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
