Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Lamont Hawkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vincent Koon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Koon's choice of entrance music: Stevie Wonder - Skeletons. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Columbo Gatti and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Koon clinches.
Koon tries to pull guard but Hawkins holds him up against the cage and eventually Koon drops back down to his feet.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Koon has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Hawkins is leaning against Koon and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.

Hawkins lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

Hawkins scores with an uppercut up the middle.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Hawkins creates some distance for himselfand unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Koon's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Koon drops to his knees and Hawkins pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
