Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between da Prodigy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Loser Haha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Haha closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Haha lands in his opponent's guard.

Prodigy has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Haha can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Prodigy is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Prodigy had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Haha defends it easily.
Haha throws a big elbow that misses.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Prodigy is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Haha is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Haha has escaped and now he's on top!

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Haha is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Haha throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Prodigy was covering up waiting for the punch and Haha finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Haha wants to get up but he can't break Prodigy's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Prodigy is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Haha defends well.

Loser Haha showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Prodigy's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. And we move into the final round!

Haha shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Prodigy's guard.

Haha got a little sloppy there for a moment and Prodigy has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Haha has managed to get both his arms back between Prodigy's legs - danger averted.
Haha wants to control from the top but Prodigy keeps moving.

Prodigy escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Haha gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Haha accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Loser Haha has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.

Haha looking to score a takedown here. Prodigy is defending well but Haha drives through and ends up in Prodigy's guard.

Well Haha has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
