And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Chibi Tsushima!
The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Eddie Farnsworth and Chad Campbell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tsushima lands a nice leg kick that just misses Aldo's sensitive parts.
Aldo with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Tsushima keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Tsushima scores with a one two! Aldo had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Tsushima has closed the distance and engaged Aldo in a clinch.
Aldo wants to break free but Tsushima has control.
Aldo has had enough of the clinch but Tsushima keeps him there for the moment.
Tsushima is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Aldo pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Tsushima misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Aldo wants to break the clinch but can't.
Tsushima keeps control of Aldo as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Tsushima tries to work over Aldo's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Aldo can't break the clinch.

Aldo is trying to force a seperation but Tsushima has the dominant position.
Aldo is trying to break the clinch but Tsushima has him pressed against the cage.
Aldo wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Tsushima throws a head punch that misses.
Tsushima throws a punch but it's blocked by Aldo.
A frustrated look appears on Aldo's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Tsushima has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Aldo regains guard immediately.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Aldo has momentary wrist control but Tsushima slips an elbow through the middle.
Tsushima won't allow Aldo to sweep him here.
Tsushima not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Tsushima has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Aldo looking to hit a scissor sweep but Tsushima is one step ahead there.
Tsushima is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Tsushima throwing strikes from guard but Aldo blocks nicely.
Tsushima tries to free his leg and advance position but Aldo is retaining full guard.
Aldo pulls Tsushima in close to prevent any damage.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Tsushima just misses with a punch to the body.
Jose Aldo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tsushima wants to clinch.
Tsushima misses the shot to the body.
Tsushima moves forwards but Aldo connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Aldo misses with an uppercut

and Tsushima counters with a shoot takedown. Aldo fights it but they end up in guard.
Tsushima postures up.
Tsushima is looking to work some ground and pound but Aldo has wrist control.
Tsushima stops Aldo from standing up.
Tsushima pushing down on Aldo's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.

Aldo is in trouble now - Tsushima has advanced to mount!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Aldo tries to lock up and control but Tsushima gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Tsushima throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Aldo has his hands clasped together but Tsushima breaks the hold and Aldo is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Tsushima!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Chibi Tsushima!
Chibi Tsushima seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
