PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tony Zamfirescu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carl Plum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zamfirescu comes to the cage accompanied by Chok There. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Plum ducks under a wild hook from Zamfirescu.
Zamfirescu tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

Zamfirescu jabs Plum to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Zamfirescu fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Plum manages to avoid it.
Plum throws a head kick that Zamfirescu semi-blocks.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Plum throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.

Tony Zamfirescu is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Plum shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Zamfirescu's guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Plum keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Zamfirescu's head.
Plum told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet.

Plum thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Zamfirescu if he has to take too many more of those.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Plum cracks Zamfirescu with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Zamfirescu bobbing and weaving nicely... He's ducked under a jab and ducks again but ooooooh! Plum comes at him with an uppercut from hell! Zamfirescu falls to the canvas, unconscious! This one is all over! Oh man, looking at the replay that was right on the button! Zamfirescu was out before he hit the floor!
