The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Juana shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Bonez pinned against the ropes. Bonez gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Juana enables Bonez to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Juana manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Bonez wants to control from the top but Juana keeps moving.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Juana shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Bonez pinned against the ropes. Bonez gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Juana breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Juana closes the distance and clinches up with Bonez, looking for a takedown. Juana pushes Bonez against the ropes but Bonez circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Juana closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Juana lands in his opponent's guard.
