The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Watson shoots in and drives through. Lindblad sprawls well.
Watson tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Lindblad comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.

Watson is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Lindblad can't fight it off and eventually Watson manages to take the fight to the floor. Lindblad looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Watson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Lindblad on the ground.

Lindblad had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Watson is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Lindblad Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Watson's back instead.

Well Lindblad has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
