Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Po Panda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matthew Janice (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Panda comes to the cage accompanied by Kung Fu Fighting by Carl Douglas. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 20 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Po Panda!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Matthew Janice!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Anthony Taglia and Columbo Gatti.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Panda with a jab.
Janice throws a sloppy head kick and Panda moves out of range easily.
Panda blocks the body kick.
Panda avoids a kick to the body.
A bone on bone clash there as Panda blocks the leg kick.
Janice pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

Panda scores with a takedown into Janice's guard.
Janice working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Panda.

Panda postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Panda with a flurry of punches that miss.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Panda trying to control the position from guard on top but Janice is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Panda wants to pass the guard but Janice is keeping the position.

Janice is looking to stand up but Panda isn't so interested in that idea.

Janice can't keep his opponent in guard - Panda advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Panda stalling away here and it's allowed Janice to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Panda working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Panda is keen to just control but Janice is a slippery customer.

Panda wants to free his trapped foot but Janice is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Panda moves nicely into side control.
Panda has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Panda fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Panda lands an elbow.
Panda lands a strong strike to the head of Janice. That's dazed him! Panda looking to finish here. Janice is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Panda lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Po Panda!
Po Panda opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.
