Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Javier Springfield (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joyce Karnz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Joyce Karnz will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Springfield closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Karnz to the mat! Karnz manages to get full guard.

Karnz is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Springfield showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
Springfield could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Springfield sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Karnz's guard.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Karnz is trying to stand back up but Springfield is controlling him
Karnz is trying to control but Springfield manages to pass to mount!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Karnz tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Springfield connects with a couple of good shots from mount.

Springfield is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Karnz is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Karnz flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Springfield anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Karnz and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Springfield slips an arm under Karnz chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Springfield has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Springfield is squeezing on Karnz like an anaconda would it's prey. Karnz fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
