Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Yorgi Cohen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joseph Grazze (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Yorgi Cohen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Joseph Grazze!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Andrew Berry and Richard Clark.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cohen tries a head kick but it misses.
Cohen fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Cohen goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Cohen fails to land the takedown.
Grazze throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Cohen's waist but Cohen gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Grazze off to one side.
Grazze tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Cohen swivels and escapes.
Grazze shoots in and drives through. Cohen sprawls well.
Yorgi Cohen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Joseph Grazze.
Grazze thows a left - swing and a miss!

Grazze feints and as Cohen raises his hands in defense, Grazze changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Cohen looking to hit a scissor sweep but Grazze is one step ahead there.
Cohen controls Grazze momentarily but Grazze frees himself.

Grazze stays in close to Cohen's body and controls the position.
Cohen is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Cohen looking for a sweep. Not yet Cohen, not yet.
Cohen wants to control but Grazze passes easily into half guard.
Cohen is looking to improve his position.

Grazze is taking a breather. Cohen says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Cohen is looking for a sweep. Grazze is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Grazze looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

Cohen moves into full guard.
Grazze wants to control from the top but Cohen keeps moving.
Grazze chips away with some ground and pound.
Cohen can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Grazze controls the pace.
Grazze cracks Cohen with a solid left hand.

Cohen keeping full guard, as Grazze tries to pass.
Grazze working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Cohen's head.
Cohen bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Grazze's guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Grazze closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
The strikes coming from Grazze are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
Cohen is trying to get back to half guard.
You can see the frustration on Cohen's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Cohen gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Grazze is trying to control the action in half guard but Cohen is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Grazze is controlling the pace.
Grazze wants to take a breather but Cohen is having none of it.

Joseph Grazze has got the better of the ground game so far.

Joseph Grazze has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Cohen shoots in looking for a takedown. Grazze tries to sprawl out of it but Cohen keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Grazze manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Cohen throws a low kick but it's checked well by Grazze.

Grazze shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Cohen defends it nicely.
A head kick misses from Cohen.
Nice takedown defense from Grazze. No joy for Cohen on that attempt.

Cohen gets the takedown into side control.
Who's going to make the next move?
Grazze is looking for a sweep.

Grazze manages to get back to half guard.
Cohen wants to lay and pray for a moment but Grazze keeps working.
Cohen prevents Grazze from standing back up.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Grazze can do anything to dispel that myth.
Grazze is breathing heavily.
Cohen seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Grazze does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Grazze has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Cohen is working away from the top position though.
Cohen tries to pass to full mount but Grazze defends it.

Cohen is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Grazze is trying to stand back up but Cohen is controlling him
Grazze is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.

Cohen is working for a submission of some sort.
Cohen wants to free his trapped foot but Grazze is holding on for dear life with his legs.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Grazze is staying active underneath Cohen, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Yorgi Cohen will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!


Grazze avoids the head kick by Cohen.
Yorgi Cohen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Grazze looks for a takedown but Cohen sprawls well.
Cohen misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Cohen, right into the meat.
Grazze shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Cohen as he jumps to the side.

and Grazze counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Grazze shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Grazze showed some decent athleticism there.
Grazze passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Cohen!
Grazze takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Cohen tries to reverse the position but Grazze maintains control.
Cohen wants to hold on but Grazze pushes him away.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Grazze lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Grazze trying to control but Cohen is having none of it.
Grazze landing strikes from the mount.
Grazze can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Cohen is looking to escape.
Cohen is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Grazze wants to control the pace but Cohen is squirming around nicely.

Grazze lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Grazze looking to finish Cohen with some ground and pound. This is bad for Cohen!

Cohen holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.
Grazze is controlling the pace.

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Cohen is pressing down on Grazze's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

And that's the end of the fight!
Joseph Grazze comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Grazze has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
