The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

It looks like Josh Berzins has been cut.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Man enables Berzins to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Man manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Berzins fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Man manages to avoid it.

Berzins tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Man defends well and Berzins ends up having to push Man into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

With the fighters up against the cage, Berzins throws an elbow but misses.

Berzins looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.

Man manages to break the clinch.

Berzins throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Man was covering up waiting for the punch and Berzins finishes the takedown easily into guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
