Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Takeru Takeru (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ned Gein (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Takeru Takeru!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ned Gein!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Hirohito Nitta and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Takeru throws a leg kick which misses Gein's front leg but catches the back leg as Gein tries to avoid it.
Takeru cracks Gein with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Takeru lands a glancing blow to the side of Gein's head.
Nice jab there from Takeru.
A thudding body kick lands there by Takeru!
Takeru jabs at Gein's body.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Takeru stuffs the takedown.
A looping hook to the body misses from Gein. Takeru does a little dance to reset his feet.
Takeru keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Takeru throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Gein stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Gein throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Takeru's corner calls for a 1-2. Takeru obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
A looping hook to the body misses from Gein. Takeru does a little dance to reset his feet.
Gein takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Gein tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Takeru paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Gein tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Takeru swivels and escapes.
Gein darts in looking for a takedown but Takeru gets double underhooks and turns Gein into the cage.
Takeru Takeru has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ned Gein.
A nice right hand lands inside from Takeru.
Gein has Takeru pressed against the cage, preventing Takeru from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Gein blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Gein blocks an uppercut.
Takeru avoids a wild elbow strike from Gein.
Takeru has a couple of punches blocked by Gein.
Takeru throws a punch but it's blocked by Gein.
Takeru is trying to break the clinch but Gein has him pressed against the cage.
Gein pulls guard.
Gein escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Takeru gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Gein has a closed guard, preventing Takeru from standing up.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Gein looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Takeru is defending well. Gein quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Takeru has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Gein celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Ned Gein!
During a confident post fight interview, Ned Gein thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
