Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Caiaphas Caine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ice Lander (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lander is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Tribute. Caiaphas Caine has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lander is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Caine.
Caine throws a head kick that misses.
Caine has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Lander rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Caine counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Caine stands and throws Lander's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Lander is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Caine off and has taken his back!
You can see the frustration on Caine's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Lander is looking to control Caine but Caine is wriggling around and keeping busy.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

and Lander counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Caine is lucky that one didn't land flush.

Caine is looking to pass into half guard but Lander pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Lander is in guard.

Lander got a little sloppy there for a moment and Caine has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Lander has managed to get both his arms back between Caine's legs - danger averted.
Caine looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Lander has picked Caine up and slammed him! Caine can't keep hold of the triangle and Lander manages to pass to side control!

Lander passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Caine!

A close round but Ice Lander will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Caine bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Lander throws a solid leg kick but Caine takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Lander.

Lander with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Caine to score with a decent uppercut.
Caine is trying hard to land a takedown here. Lander sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

That was a close second round but I would say that Caiaphas Caine will probably get the nod.

Lander is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Lander.
Lander tries to work over Caine's front leg with a kick but Caine checks it.
Caine tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Lander defends well and Caine ends up having to push Lander into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Lander. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.
