Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Gregor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rosco Bunga (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that John Gregor has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily John Gregor seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gregor shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Bunga's guard.
Bunga is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Gregor stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bunga swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Bunga wants to stand up but Gregor is controlling him.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bunga trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage.

Gregor is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Gregor is trying to control the position but Bunga postures up.

Gregor will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Bunga stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Gregor swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Gregor misses with a takedown attempt - Bunga sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Gregor shoots for a double leg takedown but Bunga sprawls well. He's pushed Gregor's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Bunga might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Gregor kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Gregor moves nicely into side control.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Gregor tries to move into full mount but can't pass Bunga's legs.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Bunga gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
so Gregor counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bunga wants to sweep here but Gregor controlling him for the moment.
Gregor drops back, looking for a kneebar! Bunga looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Bunga looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Bunga!
Bunga wants to lay and pray for a moment but Gregor keeps working.

Gregor is looking for a sweep.
Gregor gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Bunga trying to control from half guard but Gregor is working away.
Bunga is breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Gregor keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Gregor looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Bunga seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Gregor does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Bunga wants to clinch
and Gregor decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Bunga's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Bunga looking to hit a scissor sweep but Gregor is one step ahead there.
Gregor pushes down on Bunga's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Gregor looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Bunga is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Gregor's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Gregor's back!

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Bunga trying to control momentarily.
Gregor looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Bunga misses with an attempted mid kick.
Bunga shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Gregor counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Gregor is looking for a kimura but Bunga is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Gregor to get the leverage.
Bunga is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Gregor pulls his head out easily.

Gregor is trying to control the action in half guard but Bunga is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Bunga takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Gregor is trying to work for a kimura but Bunga is defending well.
Gregor wants to free his trapped foot but Bunga is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Gregor is thwarting Bunga's attempts to control the position.
Gregor knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Bunga on the ground.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Gregor seems to be working for a kimura but Bunga defends the submission attempt.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Bunga tries to land a front kick but Gregor steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Gregor circles away from the clinch attempt
and Gregor counters with a shoot takedown. Bunga fights it but they end up in guard.

Gregor stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bunga swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Gregor tries to free his leg and advance position but Bunga is retaining full guard.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Gregor, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
