The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A nice combination there by Ojdanic.
Grim lands a glancing blow to the side of Ojdanic's head.
Ojdanic will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Ojdanic has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Grim regains guard immediately.

Grim is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Ojdanic defends well.

Grim has his foot on Ojdanic's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Ojdanic works his way back into a safe position though.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Era Ojdanic was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Nice straight punches there by Grim. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Grim.

Ojdanic closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Grim's guard.
Grim is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Grim shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Grim was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Grim lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Ojdanic down.

Grim tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Grim has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Grim wants to lay and pray for a moment but Ojdanic keeps working.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Grim thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

That was a close round but I would say that Bone Grim will probably get the nod.
That's time! Grim's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Grim drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Ojdanic dives on top into guard.

Grim working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Ojdanic doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Ojdanic manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Ojdanic would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Ojdanic must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
