Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sick Puppy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mordecai Wollsey!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Puppy is trying to drag Wollsey to the mat but Wollsey just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Puppy tries to kick Wollsey off but Wollsey keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Puppy is staying active underneath Wollsey, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Puppy stalks Wollsey and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Wollsey's face. Wollsey staggers backwards, shaken.

Sick Puppy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mordecai Wollsey.

Puppy is pushing Wollsey's head away, looking to escape. Wollsey manages to hold on to the position though.
Puppy sneaks back into half guard.

Puppy is looking to control Wollsey's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Puppy avoid being mounted?

Puppy is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Wollsey pulls his head out easily.

Puppy is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Wollsey's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Wollsey stops Puppy from getting back to his feet.
Wollsey working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Wollsey winds up and cracks Puppy with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Wollsey connects with a nice short shot to Puppy's temple.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Sick Puppy.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Puppy, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
