The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wood scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Wood stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Wood leaves Bronson with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Wood tries a low kick but Bronson avoids it.
Wood lands a nice hook to Bronson's body. Bronson takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Wood moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Wood swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Bronson.
Wood scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Bronson has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Bronson closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Wood is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Bronson is keeping busy.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Wood can do anything to dispel that myth.

Bronson is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Wood is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Bronson has hold of Wood's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Wood manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Bronson loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Wood scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Bronson land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Bronson stands and salutes the crowd.

Action Bronson spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
