Kirkson moves in looking to clinch but Kawike pushes him off.

Kawike changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Kirkson looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Kawike feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Kawike has his opponent's back and is working for the choke.
Kawike lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.
Kawike lands with a big left hand that may well have hurt his opponent. Can Kirkson hold on?!

Kawike is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Kirkson knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Kirkson for a finish.
