Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Billy Beaudry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hammer Fist (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Robert Douchet and Yves DeLean.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Beaudry shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Beaudry was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Fist seems a little lost for a moment, as Beaudry dominates the positioning.
Fist takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Fist sneaks back into half guard.
Beaudry is stalling here. Fist is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Beaudry seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Fist has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
Beaudry pushes Fist away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Fist gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Fist is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Beaudry is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Fist tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Fist has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Beaudry wants to get back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Beaudry sneaks out the side door and pushes Fist away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.

Beaudry has managed to clinch.

Fist pulls guard.

Beaudry throws an elbow that misses. Fist uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Beaudry 's guard. Nice move by Fist!

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Fist has gone for a leg lock! Beaudry slips out almost immediately though and dives into Fist's guard.
Beaudry looking to sit in guard and control but Fist gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Fist is looking to advance position but Beaudry has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!

Beaudry is landing with some decent strikes but Fist is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Beaudry goes for an armbar but Fist turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Fist.

Fist is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Beaudry is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Beaudry has escaped and now he's on top!

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Beaudry wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Fist has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Beaudry regains guard immediately.

Beaudry manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.

Beaudry looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Fist!
Beaudry tries to move to mount but Fist blocks the move with his legs.

Beaudry decides to stand back up. Beaudry steps back and let's Fist get back to his feet.
Billy Beaudry seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Fist gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Beaudry to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Beaudry stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Fist swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Fist lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Beaudry !

Fist moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Beaudry has worked his arm free - good work by Beaudry !
Beaudry wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!

Beaudry is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Fist is controlling him well.

Beaudry closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Beaudry postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Fist to stand up.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Beaudry in particular looking to stall.
