Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jason Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robin Hood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lee comes to the ring accompanied by Smack My Bitch Up - The Prodigy. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Paul Tew and Daniel Bishop.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee scores with a nice head shot.
The fighters circle momentarily. Lee darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Lee throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Lee throws out a powerful jab.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
No joy there for Hood, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Lee defending well as Hood loads up on a big left hand.
Lee stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Hood.
A head kick misses from Hood.
Hood throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Lee sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Hood slips a jab from Lee.
A telegraphed right hand from Lee misses the target.
Lee takes a swing at Hood's ribcage but misses.

It looks like Jason Lee has been cut.

Lee has control of Hood's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Hood regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Lee jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Hood is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Hood and Lee has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Lee's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.

Lee is looking for a choke. Hood gets to his feet with his opponent on his back and slams him to the mat. Hood manages to squirm out of the attempted choke and turns into his opponent's guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Jason Lee will probably get the nod.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.

Hood throws a chopping leg kick but Lee manages to avoid taking any serious damage.

Lee jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Hood manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Lee goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Hood has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Lee but great work by Hood.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Nice straight punches there by Lee. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Lee.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Hood looks to land a combination but Lee avoids it well.

Hood scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Hood throws a good cross that connects.

Lee stuns Hood with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Lee shoots in and bounces Hood off the ropes to secure the takedown into guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Lee throws a hook to the side of Hood's head but Hood sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Hood shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Lee throws a right hand that Hood ducks under and follows up with a left that Hood also avoids with ease.

Lee connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Hood momentarily.

Lee stalks Hood and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Hood's face. Hood staggers backwards, shaken.

Lee shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Lee drops back, looking for a kneebar! Hood looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Hood looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Hood!

Lee feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

I would just about give that final round to Robin Hood.
I think Hood has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
