Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Delano Thompson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mason Kane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Thompson might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to New York. Mason Kane will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kane lands an overhand right.
No luck for Thompson with that takedown attempt.

Kane gets caught napping as Thompson dives in and scores a takedown. Kane manages to retain guard.

Thompson takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Mason Kane seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Kane buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Kane has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Thompson takes a jab right on the kisser.
Kane connects with a leg kick. Thompson looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Kane pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Kane fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Thompson shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Kane as he avoids it easily.

Kane works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Oh Thompson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Kane pounces like a tiger and cracks Thompson with a vicious hook! Thompson is down but not out! Kane follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
