Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Darren Myles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Melvin Guilard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Myles comes to the cage accompanied by Red Hot Chili Peppers - Can't Stop. Darren Myles has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Melvin Guilard!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Guilard tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Guilard stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Guilard wants it to stay on the feet.

Guilard really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Myles. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Myles keeps control of the position easily here as Guilard tries to buck him off.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Myles, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Darren Myles spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
