Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joey Dixon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nathan Speed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dixon comes to the cage accompanied by Dark Tranquillity - Iridium. Speed has chosen The Ramones / Blitzkrieg Bop as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dixon wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Dixon has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Speed is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Nathan Speed has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.

Dixon is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Speed defends it well.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Joey Dixon.
