The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A bone on bone clash there as Lucas blocks the leg kick.
A combination from Beltran does no damage.
Beltran moves out of range as Lucas strikes.
Beltran looks to land a combination but Lucas avoids it well.
Beltran misses the shot to the body.

Lucas closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Beltran did well to prevent Lucas getting side control.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Lucas wants to free his trapped foot but Beltran is holding on for dear life with his legs.
