Connell comes to the cage accompanied by Ain't No Sunshine. Toe has chosen Here Comes the Boom! as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Connell lands a lovely overhand right.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Toe has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Connell throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Toe sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Nice defenses there by Toe.
Connell misses with a few strikes there.
Connell throws a jab when Toe was well out of range.
Nice shot lands for Connell.
Toe misses with a takedown attempt - Connell sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Toe's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Connell connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Toe scrambles back to his feet.
Toe keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
A slow jab from Connell misses its intended target.
Connell throws a series of strikes that have Toe backpedaling.

Toe is still on wobbly legs! Can Connell finish him?
Connell closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Toe! Connell dives in looking to finish! Toe is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
