Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hooper Smith!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Yoshi Doi!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Yuuki Gou and Yukihiro Yamamoto.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith looks to land a left hand but Doi moved out of range nicely.

Doi drives through with a takedown into Smith's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Doi stands and throws Smith's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Doi has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Smith!
Doi tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Smith is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Doi is standing up, even though he is in mount.
Doi moves out of range of the body kick from Smith.
Smith misses with an attempted mid kick.
Smith missing with a left hand there. Doi was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Doi keeps the fight on the outside.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Doi shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Doi content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Doi's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Smith is trying to control but can't.
Doi has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Smith knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Doi on the ground.
Doi content just to control the position here.

Doi is working close to his opponent, looking to work a submission by the looks of things. Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight! Will he tap? YES, he's tapped! Impressive submission by Doi!

A very excited looking Yoshi Doi rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
