Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ricardo Marrodona (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ben Roofer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Marrodona comes to the cage accompanied by It's a Fight. Roofer is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Jonesmann Feat. Azad - Der Soldat James Rhyme. Ben Roofer has the better chin. Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roofer takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Roofer throws out a leg kick but Marrodona moves out of range and Roofer only half commits.
Marrodona will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Marrodona closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Roofer did well to prevent Marrodona getting side control.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Roofer fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Marrodona has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
