The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Igor Prikhodko and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gago closes the distance and clinches up with Jacarson, looking for a takedown. Gago pushes Jacarson against the cage but Jacarson circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Gago looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Jacarson uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Gago connects with a body shot that sends Jacarson's belly button to the back.
Gago tries for a takedown but Jacarson sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Jacarson paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
It looks like Igor Gago has been cut.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Gago steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Jacarson. That one must have hurt.

Gago has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Jacarson doesn't defend quickly enough and Gago has managed to lock this one up! Can Jacarson escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Gago on a fantastic submission victory.
