Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ron Dogg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Buscape Buscape (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ron Dogg could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Buscape Buscape's chin.

The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Paulo Santos and Thiago Cunha.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dogg shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Dogg was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Buscape is looking to regain half guard here but Dogg keeps moving and retains side control.

Dogg decides to stand up, so the ref orders Buscape to his feet.
Buscape Buscape seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Buscape fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

and Dogg decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Buscape's guard.
Dogg not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Buscape looking to hit a scissor sweep but Dogg is one step ahead there.
Dogg stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Buscape swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Dogg stands up over Buscape, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Buscape is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Dogg has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Buscape tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Dogg defends well and Buscape ends up having to push Dogg into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Buscape drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Dogg manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Buscape has Dogg in his guard.

Buscape has a hand on Dogg's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Dogg takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!

Ron Dogg overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Dogg can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Buscape is looking to escape.

Dogg is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet!
Buscape shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Dogg sprawls well. Dogg wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Buscape gets slowly back to his feet.

Buscape misses with a takedown attempt - Dogg sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Dogg throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Buscape was covering up waiting for the punch and Dogg finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Buscape drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Buscape jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Ron Dogg.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Dogg, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
