Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jake Epping!
The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Vladimir Khabensky and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baird looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Epping, right into the meat.
Baird swings away with a body shot that misses
and Epping counters with an outside leg kick.
Epping scores with a nice head shot.

Epping has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Baird is landing a low percentage of strikes.

Epping jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Baird walks away with a smile on his face. Epping gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Epping cracks Baird with a right hand to the side of the head.

Macadam Baird seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Epping looks to land a left hand but Baird moved out of range nicely.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jake Epping dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Baird pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Epping throws a leg kick which misses Baird's front leg but catches the back leg as Baird tries to avoid it.
Epping connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Baird momentarily.
Baird lands a leg kick that knocks Epping off balance momentarily.
Baird throws a hook but Epping avoids it easily.
Baird plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Nice uppercut lands for Epping. That snapped Baird's head back.
Oh Baird is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Epping throws an overhand right that drops Baird like a sack of potatoes! Epping dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!

After the fight, Jake Epping was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
