Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jake Tyler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yefar Mehwadi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mehwadi has chosen Khe Sahn as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tyler shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

and Tyler counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Mehwadi changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Tyler tries to avoid it but Mehwadi manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Tyler to the ground. Tyler escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Mehwadi might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Tyler kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Tyler feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Tyler drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Mehwadi manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Tyler has Mehwadi in his guard.
