The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson shoots in but Seagal avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Jackson moves into range and clinches up with Seagal.

Seagal tries to break the clinch but Jackson is controlling the position.

Jackson has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Seagal uses from the top position.

Jackson is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Steve Seagal has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Roman Jackson.

Jackson manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Seagal manages to get himself to full guard.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Jackson bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Seagal's guard.

This has been an exciting period of action!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Roman Jackson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!


Seagal has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

Seagal knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jackson on the ground.

Jackson is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Seagal to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Seagal shrugs it off.

Jackson working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Seagal turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Jackson off and cradles Seagal's limp body as Jackson celebrates with his corner.
