Kirill fails with the takedown.

Selmy tries to score with a low kick but Kirill moves his leg out of the way.
Selmy throws a shot from downtown. Kirill moves away and avoids it.

Kirill misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Selmy.
Selmy takes a body punch but keeps moving.

Kirill decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Selmy is trying to control but can't.
Kirill tries to pass the half guard into mount. Selmy knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Kirill moves into side control, avoiding a weak kimura attempt from Selmy.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Kirill connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Selmy some visible discomfort.
