Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Han Solo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wladimir Zaitzev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wladimir Zaitzev has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Han Solo's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zaitzev keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Solo.
Zaitzev is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Solo is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Zaitzev.
Zaitzev wants to clinch.
Solo stuffs the takedown.
Solo lands with a hook. Zaitzev tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Solo throws a jab when Zaitzev was well out of range.
Solo lands with a cross.
Zaitzev shoots in for a takedown but Solo shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Solo throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Zaitzev sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Zaitzev tries to close the distance and clinch but Solo swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Solo throws a hook to the side of Zaitzev's head but Zaitzev sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Solo lands a nice shot that snaps Zaitzev's head back.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Solo, as that shot connected.
Solo fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Zaitzev just misses with a punch to the body.
Solo swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Solo dodges the punch combination from Zaitzev.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Zaitzev is defended easily by Solo.
Han Solo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Wladimir Zaitzev.

Solo throws an overhand right that lands on Zaitzev's shoulder, as Zaitzev tries to avoid the shot.
Solo lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Solo is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Solo lands with a straight right. Zaitzev didn't see that one coming.
Zaitzev fails to land the takedown.
Han Solo is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Solo throws a lazy right hand but Zaitzev sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Solo digs a good body shot into Zaitzev's ribs.
Solo connects with a looping right hand.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Zaitzev shoots in for a takedown but Solo shows good takedown defense.

Zaitzev is trying desperately to land a takedown but Solo is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Zaitzev.
Zaitzev ducks right into an uppercut from Solo.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Solo throws a lazy right hand but Zaitzev sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

and Zaitzev counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Solo blocking the ground and pound attempt from Zaitzev.

Zaitzev maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Solo could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Zaitzev has cracked it and Solo is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Zaitzev!
