Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Slip Zacha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Kyler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kyler is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Battle Hymn. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as John Kyler enters the cage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kyler fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Zacha shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
John Kyler seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Kyler shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Zacha is trying to defend but Kyler finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Zacha definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Zacha is defending against the submission attempts here by Kyler.
Kyler prevents Zacha from standing back up.
Zacha tries to roll over but Kyler keeps him under control.
Zacha blocking the ground and pound attempt from Kyler.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Zacha is staying active underneath Kyler, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Kyler is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Zacha is trying to stand up here but Kyler is controlling him well.

Zacha wants to control but Kyler is keeping busy.
Zacha knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kyler on the ground.

Kyler is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Zacha is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
