Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Diem Miles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kevin McLeary (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Miles.
McLeary has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Miles is landing a low percentage of strikes.
McLeary connects with the punch.
McLeary bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Miles's head.
Miles fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
McLeary connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Miles's hands.
Miles tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but McLeary swivels and escapes.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Diem Miles. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Miles takes one on the chin but seems OK.
McLeary throws a hook to the side of Miles's head but Miles sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
McLeary scores with a hook.
McLeary bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Miles's head backwards.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Miles is rocked!
Miles has been working on his balance at Silverback MMA Academy (Elite + Sauna & 160VM), so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by McLeary.
McLeary darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Miles's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles McLeary before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Kevin McLeary! Kevin McLeary retains his bantamweight title!
