Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jean Shahaad (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Kamikaze (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Shahaad might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Showdown. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Stewart Dunkirk and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shahaad chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Kamikaze shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Shahaad as he avoids it easily.
Shahaad rushes Kamikaze and presses him up against the cage.
Kamikaze blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

It looks like John Kamikaze has been cut.
Shahaad lands a right hand that snaps the head of Kamikaze backwards.
Kamikaze has Shahaad pressed against the cage.
Shahaad is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.

Kamikaze tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Shahaad lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
Shahaad dips a shoulder and cracks Kamikaze with a mighty uppercut! Kamikaze falls back against the cage and Shahaad unloads with a barrage of strikes! Kamikaze is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Shahaad screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jean Shahaad!
After winning the bout, Jean Shahaad thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
