Mendes is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Lapuz is just riding it out for now. Mendes eventually gives up the hold.

Mendes looking to sit in guard and control but Lapuz gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Lapuz drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Lapuz jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
