The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
That kick from Tapettava tenderised Jones's leg. Jones is trying to keep his angry face on.
Jones looks to land a combination but Tapettava avoids it well.
Jones checks a leg kick nicely.
Jones shoots in for a double leg but Tapettava sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Tapettava avoids a punch combination nicely.
Tapettava throws a leg kick but Jones moved away.
Tapettava looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Tapettava shoots in and drives through. Jones sprawls well.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Tapettava tries for a takedown but Jones sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Tapettava dives in and grabs Jones's left leg, looking for a takedown. Jones pushes down on Tapettava's head and hops out.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Nyrkilla Tapettava. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Tapettava shoots in for a takedown but Jones shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Tapettava tries to score a power double leg takedown but Jones sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Tapettava somewhat.

Tapettava shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Tapettava showed some decent athleticism there.
Jones is looking to control Tapettava's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Jones avoid being mounted?
Tapettava really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Tapettava just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.
