Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rance tries to close the distance and clinch but Lewis swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

enabling Lewis to counter with a crisp jab.
A telegraphed right hand from Lewis misses the target.

It looks like Duke Rance has been cut.

Lewis cracks Rance with a good jab.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Rance throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Lewis blocks it with crossed arms.

Rance is defending well against a takedown attempt.

Lewis escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Rance closes the distance but Lewis moves to the side
and Rance takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Lewis drops Rance with a huge uppercut! Rance drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Lewis is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
